Hyde C of E Primary School

Family in the forest

PTA

Our School is supported by the Hyde School Friends Association. Members consist mainly of parents and sometimes other members of our local community who are interested in supporting the school.

The HSFA is responsible for raising funds to supplement the school budget and therefore enable many extra activities to be enjoyed by the children.  These have included transport for school trips, outings to museums and shows, indoor and outdoor toys, after school club funds and materials, library books, equipment for the classrooms and sports, and school discos.

The HSFA plays an important role in our school family and helps keep our school at the centre of our local community.

The HSFA Committee holds regular meetings to plan and organise a range of fun annual and special fundraising events involving children, parents and the wider local community.  These typically include Spring and Summer Fairs, hospitality for after school shows and special church services, running stalls at local church and village fairs, Cake sales, social evenings for parents.

We value your support! Can you help us in any of the following ways?

  • Join the HSFA Committee. Bring your ideas, talents and expertise to the team. All members are welcome and valued. Biscuits, tea and new friendships also benefit! For those keen to join we will keep you updated on up-coming meetings via the school newsletter, texts or word of mouth. We really look forward to seeing you.
  • Join our Direct Debit scheme. For those who are busy working or with other children this is a great way to support the school. Anything you feel you can offer from £1-£10 or more per month is gratefully received and very much appreciated. Please contact the office for more details.
  • Fresh fundraising ideas and schemes. Always very welcome. Please come along to one of our meetings or pass on to any members of the team.

The HSFA is a Registered Charity (No: 1049472)
