Family in the forest

Willow

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are P.E. days. Please send your child to school wearing their P.E. kit.

Willow Class also have Forest School on a Wednesday

Please can all children have a pair of wellies, or a spare pair of trainers, for them to change into during breaktimes and lunchtimes. The common can get quite muddy if it has been raining!

For Year 1 and Year 2, spellings are sent home every Friday. Children also take home their Little Wandle phonics book every Friday and can take as many Reading for Pleasure books home as they like! The Reading for Pleasure books might be picture books that have been read in class, or a book that catches their eye in the reading area.

Our project question this term is: How has my community changed over time?

We will be exploring this question through our history and art learning.

In our history lessons, we will be learning all about the history of toys and transport. During out art lessons, we will be learning about the work of Quentin Blake and Celia Smith.

Watch this space for more information on our Project Outcome event, which will be a mini museum set up in the classroom!
